Nenagh Celtic were the visitors to a chilly Rearcross FC Grounds on Saturday morning for this U-11 league game against the home side and plundered a four nil victory following a strong showing. Rearcross made the brighter start as Cathal Kennedy broke on the right before shooting on target, however Celtic custudian Eoghan Tuttlebee narrowed the angle and made a good block. The visiting side upped the ante after this and goalkeeper Colm Lenihan had to be alert to block on the line and then Sean Malone came to rescue for Rea with a well timed clearance. Nenagh Celtic kept the pressure up as the woodwork denied the visitors when Pavel Macioncyk's shot from a tight angle struck the upright. Rearcross went a goal down on twelve minutes when Roberto Ipsalat made space in the centre to fire an unstoppable shot from distance to the roof of the net. The last action of the half saw the Nenagh Celtic custodian deny Cathal Kennedy for a second time with a copycat save again at the near post. Patrick Dawson forced a block out of the visiting custodian minutes in to the second half following fine play from Stephen Rochford. Nenagh Celtic were piling on the pressure as Colm Lenihan saved from Roberto Ipsalat, however the deficit was doubled seconds later when Touret Shayanewako hit the target and then Eoin Sheldon kept the scoreline intact after saving on the line midway through the half. It was three nil to the Celtic when Robert Ipsalat scored his second of the outing despite the best efforts of Sean Malone. A man of the match performance from Roberto Ipsalat was capped off with a fine strike to complete his hat-trick in the dying moments of the game. Rearcross missing a number of players for this fixture will re-group for the end of season Blitz in two weeks time. Best for Rearcross on the day were Sean Malone and Stephen Rochford.
